LEGAL & POLICIES

The paperwork, in one place.

The terms on which we supply charging, what the app collects, how money comes back, and how to delete your account. Written to match what the software actually does. If you find a discrepancy, treat it as a bug and tell us.

DOCUMENTS

Delete your account

Claim any wallet balance first. Once the account is gone, so is the record linking you to your original payment, and we may be unable to identify the transaction to refund.

01
In the app
Open e-bolt, go to the Profile tab, choose Delete account and confirm.
02
Or by email
privacy@e-bolt.in, subject “Delete my account”, from the address on your account or including your registered phone number.
03
What gets deleted
Profile, phone number and sign-in records, saved vehicles and chargers, preferences, recent searches, wallet balance and history, support tickets, push token. A deletion, not a deactivation.
04
How long it takes
Access ends immediately. Data is removed from our systems within 30 days, and from routine backups within a further 30 as they age out.
WHERE TO FIND IT IN THE APP

Profile tab, below Sign out. Claim your wallet balance and download the invoices you need before you tap it.

WHAT SURVIVES DELETION, AND WHY
Tax invoices for sessions
Financial records of a completed supply, kept for the statutory period. Only invoice number, date, amount, energy, price, charger name and GSTIN, detached from your identity.
Payment records at Razorpay
Our gateway keeps its own record of every transaction because it is legally required to. Deleting your e-bolt account does not and cannot erase those.
Crash reports already sent
Not linked to your account, so they cannot be located by it. They expire on their own, typically within 90 days.

How long a refund takes

We approve or decline within 7 working days and tell you either way. Bank timelines after that are set by your bank and the gateway, not by us.

Who else processes your data

Each provider sees only what it needs. Some sit outside India, so data may be transferred abroad under contractual protection.
